San Juan - Argentina

Race resume

The GMT94 Yamaha team is at the San Juan circuit in Argentina this week. Located at two hours from from the capital Buenos Aires by plane, the team began setting up on Wednesday, after a long 35 hours journey. The equipment was sent in directly from the last European round at Portimao.

San Juan is a stage which has often smiled to GMT94 Yamaha. Indeed, the team has won the last three races held there since 2019. Jules Cluzel generally feels good on this track, and is looking forward to playing at the front again. Andy Verdoia will have to discover the track for the first time.

Christophe Guyot: “After the solid run we had in Portimao with Jules, we hope to do it again here in Argentina. We know that Jules is always very fast here. The track is not very busy during the year, so it will get faster and faster as the sessions go on. Both drivers will have to constantly adapt to the level of grip offered by the asphalt. It’s a special circuit, which Andy will have to discover. See you tomorrow at 9.00 am UK time for the start of FP1 at www.worldsbk.com.
