Phillip Island

Race resume

The two days of official free practices on the Phillip Island circuit are coming to an end. Both GMT94 riders have very good times.

Jules Cluzel lost three tenths in his best lap for helping Corentin Perolari to progress on a track that he discovers. The competition is formidable, but the race goals of the two riders appear feasible: Jules Cluzel will aim for the podium and Corentin Perolari the top 5.

Jules Cluzel: “Step by step, I take the measure of my motorcycle. The gear selection on the right is now adapted. We still have things to improve to have a constant pace of racing. I’m optimistic. I will give everything to get on the podium!”

Corentin Perolari: “Thanks to Jules (Cluzel) for allowing me to reach 1’34”. I would like to finish the race in the same position as during these practices.

Christophe Guyot: “Our two riders are fast. Jules (Cluzel) can aim for the victory, Corentin (Perolari) the top 5. The key will be our ability to find the right setting to have a constant pace of racing, which remains a difficult task because the longevity of tires poses many problems at Phillip Island.”
