Aragon - Spain

Race resume

This weekend, the GMT94 Yamaha team will be at the Aragon circuit (Spain) for the first round of the World Supersport Championship. After a seven month winter break, Federico Caricasulo has joined Jules Cluzel in the French team.

Three test sessions were held during this long break, at the Navarra, Barcelona and Aragon circuits. The two GMT94 riders were able to get back on the Yamaha R6 GMT94 and are ready to start the season. This year, the goal is clear: the world championship title.

The mechanics have been working hard to make the final changes to the engines and suspensions, in order to offer the two riders the best Yamaha R6 in the field.

Christophe Guyot: “The winter break was particularly long this year. This allowed us to work calmly to offer a stable and even more performing bike to Jules and Federico. This year we have two riders able to win races. The Supersport championship is shaping up to be a very tense one with around six riders in a position to challenge for the title. ”

See you tomorrow at 11.25am on www.worldsbk.com for the first free practice session.
