GMT94 Yamaha rider Valentin Debise will unfortunately not be taking part in the fifth Round of the World Supersport Championship to be held this weekend at the Misano circuit in Italy.

The two-time French Supersport Champion is not feeling well and will have to rest for several weeks, without being able to do any physical activity. He will be replaced by Johan Gimbert (18), who is currently leading the French Supersport Championship.

Christophe Guyot: “The whole team deeply regrets this enforced withdrawal. We wish Valentin all the best in getting fully fit for the next Round at Donington. We remain committed to giving the best French rider the chance to race in the World Supersport Championship. Johan Gimbert is leading the French Championship in the 600 category, and is one of the contenders for the wildcard for the French Round at Magny-Cours.
