2 days tests in Portimao

Portimao-Portugal

Test

Last winter tests before the Australian meeting.

Valentin Debise, Lorenzo Baldassarri and the GMT94 Yamaha team met in Portugal at the Portimão circuit for the last winter tests in order to continue the work on the YZF-R6 and the YZF-R1.

Two days during which Lorenzo Baldassarri was able to try out the “time attack” and the race simulations. The five-time Moto2 winner clearly showed an “increase in power” confirming the very good work done with the team at the Jerez test the week before.

Valentin Debise, for his part, arrived at the Lusitanian track on familiar ground, having trained there a few days before with his data engineer Sébastien Landaburu.

These new tests in Portimão allowed the two-time French Supersport Champion to work with his team on the technical package while doing laps in race condition.

During these last tests in Europe an exclusive press conference was broadcasted on Youtube with the presence of the 2 riders and the Team Manager Christophe Guyot. An official presentation which allowed the team to announce its objectives for this new season.
