Test

GMT94 joined the World Superbike Championship teams for 2 days of testing at the Portimao circuit ( Portugal ).

Yamaha engineer Christian Moretti was on hand alongside the 3 Yamaha Supersport teams present (Evan Bros, Ten Kate, GMT94) to work on the many set-up possibilities offered by the Yamaha R9.

Christophe Guyot: “Despite the track being tricky to get to grips with at times, the riders were able to put in a lot of laps and we’ve come away with all the information we needed to be competitive in 15 days’ time on the same circuit. The 2 teams managed by Andrew Pitt (for Michael Rinaldi) and Bart Van Heugten (for Lucas Mahias) worked together to accelerate the development of the Yamaha R9”.
