End of the two days of test in Estoril

Estoril - Portugal

Test

The GMT94 team has completed its two days of testing at the Estoril circuit. After one hour of dry track, the rain came for the rest of the two days. It was nevertheless the occasion for Jules Cluzel and Andy Verdoïa to work on the settings of the Yamaha R6 GMT94. Indeed, with the new fuel, the engine brake strategies are different from those of the previous years. A certain number of adjustments could thus be carried out on wet track.

As usual, Jules Cluzel set a high pace on a wet track. Lacking experience in the rain, Andy Verdoïa put in a series of laps to gradually close the gap on his teammate. A good session for both GMT94 riders.

The GMT94 team will head to the Aragon circuit (Spain) this Sunday for the official WorldSBK test, just before the first race weekend of the year 2022.
