Practice session start at Estoril for the GMT94

The GMT94 team has arrived on the Estoril circuit this Monday for a two-day test session. Jules Cluzel and Andy Verdoïa have already been able to discover their Yamaha R6 GMT94 2022 ten days ago at the circuit of Nogaro (France). Unfortunately, the weather was not good. Here again, the weather remains uncertain. However, the GMT94 Yamaha riders should be able to enjoy a few hours of riding on a dry track. Many of the WorldSSP teams are in Portugal. A first opportunity for the GMT94 riders to measure themselves against their 2022 competitors.

Estoril will host the third round of the World Supersport Championship. It is thus an important session in order to prepare at best the season to come.

On the program of the two days:

• – Test of the blipper, authorized for the Yamaha R6 for this year
  – Chassis adjustments to adapt to the new minimum weight of the Yamaha R6
  – Test of the new fuel.
  – Test of a new braking system, following the changes in the regulations.

Eurosport will also join the GMT94 team to prepare a documentary before the season. Professionals video maker and photographer will be alongside the team to share great images of these test.
