Race resume

The 5th qualification of the year took place with a nice sun and perfect temperatures. Jules Cluzel fought for the pole position, before crashing during his fastest lap. The rider of the Yamaha number 16 will start from third position on the grid tomorrow.

It all started well for Corentin Perolari in FP1. He discovered a very difficult track and ended the session in 12th position. A great performance he wanted to improve by starting the FP2 session. A brutal high-side followed by a percussion with the bike of Randy Krummenacher who could not avoid Corentin’s Yamaha R6, caused concern in GMT94’s box.

GMT94 Yamaha mechanics arrived on Tuesday, set-up the box and prepared the bike on Wednesday. Christophe and Rémi were at different meetings with DORNA (WorldSBK promotor) in order to promote the French round in Magny-Cours on September 27-29th. 

One more time, GMT94 Yamaha faced to really cold conditions during the Free Practice 3. Corentin Perolari ended on the 4th position, Jules Cluzel on the 6th.

GMT94 Yamaha riders faced really cold conditions as the thermometer pointed 7 degrees maximum. Jules Cluzel ended on 5th position, four tenths from the first.

After a short break of two days, the team GMT94 Yamaha had to leave to Assen (Netherlands), for the 4th round of the World Supersport Championship. 

Corentin Perolari has been able to finish in 6th position whereas he was fighting in a group of five strong riders. Corentin was consistent, mature and leave Aragon at the 7th place of the World Supersport Championship. 

After an electronic test in Free Practice 3, GMT94 Yamaha was ready for the Superpole. Corentin Perolari has been able to improve during each session, while Jules Cluzel was focused on settings. 

GMT94 Yamaha has realised an interesting first day in Aragon (Spain), for the third round of the World Supersport Championship. The first free practice session took place in dry conditions. GMT94’s riders worked on worn tyres. Jules Cluzel ended in second position, Corentin Perolari nineth.
