Race resume

On March 14 and 15, Federico Caricasulo, Jules Cluzel and the whole GMT94 team will train on the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit to prepare the French round of the WorldSBK on September 3-4-5, 2021.

For the first time since the beginning of the season, the race took place in a pack. A group of nine riders left the rest of the riders. In this group, Jules Cluzel was often around 5th place, before losing some positions in the last laps. Jules and the team leave with valuable information for next season.

Jules Cluzel has made a very good start, but he has to cut the throttle and deviate from his line to avoid a rider with a mechanical problem in the first corner. By restarting beyond 15th place, Jules starts to comeback on a circuit that is known to be difficult for overtakes.

After two weekends out, Estoril was Jules Cluzel return to the GMT94 box. After a cautious start, Jules felt much more comfortable in the second session, to end the day in 6th place (+0,410s).

After having done the fastest lap in Superpole, Kyle Smith started both races of the weekend in pole position. Corentin Perolari was in 8th position. In Race 1, weather conditions were terrible.

Rain was at the start of the two free practice sessions. Kyle Smith was particularly comfortable in these conditions and built his sessions in a calm and thoughtful way, before setting a series of fast laps at the end of FP2.
