This weekend sees the final European round of the World Superbike Championship at the Portimao circuit in Portugal. GMT94 Yamaha and Jules Cluzel won the round in 2021. The whole team is aiming for a podium finish before heading to Argentina.

Last weekend was the last round of the French Superbike Championship at the Paul Ricard circuit. The riders supported by GMT94 had some great successes, but also some disappointments. After having made a great comeback in Race 1, Jules Cluzel was keen to do well in this second race.

Like every Saturday morning, the Superpole session, which serves as a qualifying session, took place. The GMT94 Yamaha had a complicated session, with Jules qualifying 16th and Andy 19th. With the times being very close from 2nd place, the GMT94 Yamaha riders could have been better rewarded.

Rain was forecast for Friday, but the Spanish sun was present during the two free practice sessions. Jules Cluzel finished FP2 in a respectable 5th place, after FP1 which served to better understand the direction to take in terms of bike set-up.

This weekend sees the eighth round of the World Supersport Championship at the Barcelona circuit (Spain). The GMT94 Yamaha is coming in with confidence following its podium finish with Jules Cluzel on French soil ten days ago.

Sunday 12th September was a special day for Jules Cluzel. Indeed, it was his last race in France. The GMT94 rider announced before this race weekend that 2022 would be his last year in motorbike racing.

Valentin Debise started from 15th on the grid after a clutch problem in Race 1 and set a superb pace to climb back up to 7th place. This Friday was the free practices for the French round of the World Superbike Championship. The weather was particularly capricious. Despite this, the Supersport riders were able to enjoy about 20 minutes of dry track at the end of FP2.

This weekend of September 10th and 11th, the World Superbike Championship takes place at the Magny-Cours circuit (France). The GMT94 Yamaha is expecting more than 200 guests and 2,000 fans for this occasion.
