Jules Cluzel led the way in the official test at the beginning of the week despite a small crash, and had high hopes for this first weekend at the Aragon circuit

This weekend sees the first round of the World Superbike Championship at the Aragon circuit in Spain. Today, two free practice sessions of 45 minutes each awaited Jules Cluzel and Andy Verdoïa.

This weekend will take place the start of the World Superbike Championship on the Aragon circuit (Spain). On the occasion of his fourth season within the GMT94 Yamaha, Jules Cluzel is joined by the young Andy Verdoïa (19 years old – France). 

Starting from 13th on the grid, Jules Cluzel made a fantastic comeback to win the race on the last corner of the last lap. Without doubt his best race since his arrival at the GMT94 Yamaha team.

For the last round of the WorldSSP Championship which takes place on the Asian continent, Jules Cluzel and Valentin Debise are motivated to finish the season with great results.

After leading free practice, taking pole position, setting a new absolute lap record, winning race 1, leading the warm-up session, Jules Cluzel signs the first double win GMT94 history in a World Championship!

In this morning’s Superpole at the San Juan circuit (Argentina), Jules Cluzel took pole position three tenths ahead of his rivals.

The GMT94 team was arriving at the San Juan (Argentina) circuit for the first time since its 2019 win.

After the victory of the first race on the Portimao circuit, Jules Cluzel and the GMT94 Yamaha team were confident. In a very competitive race, Jules Cluzel finished 2nd, eleven thousandths away from victory.

Following two pole positions and four podiums in the 2021 season, the GMT94 team arrived at the Portimao circuit (Portugal) with the ambition to do well.
